What Would Make You a Good HR?» I am fairly active and I enjoy doing contests and fun things for the clan, as well as decorate my profile/signature accordingly. I think I would be a good hr because I'm active enough to be one and I would work hard at being one!

RP Sample» Canarysong purred loudly as he swished his tail, eyes blinking as he faced the small kitten. "Want to play, little one?" The kit nodded enthusiastically and the mother watched fondly. "Thank you, Canarysong.." She murmured. "I know your busy as deputy, but you always make time for the little ones and everyone else." Canarysong blinked at her. "I do my best, Mapleheart. Thank you." With a purr and a fake yowl as the kitten pounced on top of him, he batted at the kit gently with his fluffy paws. "I gotcha now!" The kit squealed. "Oh no, you got me!"He faked death by laying down, but peaked one eye open, his chest bubbling with laughter within. This was his job. Deputy. Take care of the entire clan.

What Would Make You a Good HR? » I have experience playing high rank characters so I understand what that means for both me and the site. I'm also fairly active, enough to post as I should - even if I mostly lurk.

Please provide an RP sample with the character » Lynxfern strolled along the twoleg-made border that CanopyClan shared with BayouClan, twisting their ears backwards to listen for their followers. On a routine border patrol where tensions between factions were low, they had only taken two other clanmates with them. Currently, the biggest threat was only twolegs, which the patrol had yet to encounter. But Lynxfern didn't feel any thunderous vibrations beneath their paws, nor any deafening gibberish to announce a twoleg's presence, so they continued on without worry.

They surveyed the edge of CanopyClan's territory, their muzzle raised to the sky and their jaws parted slightly to taste the air. BayouClan scent was strong along the border, but there was no sign anyone had dared to cross over it. Lynxfern was pleased. It was toward the end of leaf-bare, but leaf-bare nonetheless. Prey wasn't exactly scarce, considering the lack of snow and cold, but it wasn't running as well as it did in newleaf or greenleaf either. Lynxfern worried that water would be difficult to come by when temperatures were too hot, what with there being little to no snow to melt and fill the rivers, but there was nothing they could do about that until the time came - should it come.

They discreetly shook their head to rid themself of such thoughts, focusing on the moment instead. So far so good. Lynxfern was looking forward to reporting to Coatistar with the exciting news of an mundane border patrol.

WHY YOU?

» I have had over several years of experience playing high rank character. I should be able to post at least once or twice a week with any and all characters I have. If required more, and the threads are up and running and replied too, I will be pushing for that. As a Sentinel, I want to strive to push for Tribe centered plots, building relationships with fellow tribemates.

ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE

Pain.

That was all she could feel in those moments as she stood before the two large clan cats at her border. These felines had been an issue for as long as she could remember, with the fact that one of her own had started the clan itself, CanopyClan. The two bulky males thought they could take her, an averaged sized female, who had been unaware that her simple stroll in the evening would turn into this. She was panting, blood drenching the fur above her eye as she studied the two bullies she had encountered. They called themselves Snakeclaw and Vinestrike - brothers who had parents who had been part of the tribe.

"Pathetic, and what an excuse for a sentries."

They would hiss at her, their fur bristling as she eyed each. Snakeclaw had a limp from a past injury she assumed, something she had kicked into full force when he had attacked her. It was Vinestrike she was more worried about. Glaring at the tom, she saw her chance, Vinestrike favored his left side, and as she launched herself towards Vinestrike, she used all her weight to launch herself off of Vinestrike - pushing him away from her as she met Snakeclaw in the air. Teeth and claws sliced through the air as the two tussled towards the water. She knew she would have the advantage and as the two toms realized this, it was to late for Snakeclaw.

She had pushed the tom didn't the water with a kick, her silvery-pelt coated in sand as she saw the tom struggle for a moment, calling for his brother who rushed to his aid. With a hiss, the she-cat raised a brow and straighten herself.

"Stay away from the Tribe's lands. You are not welcome here."

"Alright, lay down and stay still," Tigerheart grumbled as the queen brought her kit into the medicine cat's den. That little nuisance had already gotten a thorn in her pad and was wailing like it was a life-or-death situation. Had he made such a fuss when he was a kit?

"T-that's our medicine cat?" the small she-kit gazed up at the massive spotted tom with wide, frightened eyes. Tigerheart ignored her. He crouched down to inspect her pads. The thorn was tiny too. What a fussy kit. He brought his teeth around the thorn and gave it a quick tug, loosening it alongside a small spurt of blood. It was not deep or bad, probably no need to even get cobwebs.

But the she-kit gave a yowl and scrambled away from him. "You bit me!"

"And I'll do it again if you don't shut your maw," Tigerheart snapped. The queen gave him an exasperated glare and hustled her daughter away from the medicine cat's den. With a sigh, Tigerheart looked up at the darkening night sky as the day's work concluded and he slunk back into his den. He liked the idea of sleeping early. Every night he did, actually. Every night when he went to sleep, he wanted to believe that there was a possibility - even the slightest one - of StarClan visiting him. They had never done so before... but tonight. Maybe tonight they would, for the first time.
